I have to do a water park themed cake.

The person the cake is for works at an indoor water park with water floating moat, hot tub, kiddie pool, slides , the works, I want to try to duplicate the place but just don't know where to start!

Has anyone done anything like this? I have did a cake with water on it and some with ponds. So I can do that much.

Any help will be appreciated!

Michelle,
thank you for your ideas, just today I was thinking of using the fruit strips for different colored slides! The teddy grahams is a good idea, I have told people about these before. There is so many things you can use, you just gotta think!
If anyone else has any ideas I will welcome them! thank you linda

Water Park Cake

Hi Linda,

Try these suggestions to make the elements of the water park:

Construct the pools from blue jello (for the water) or whatever method you've already used successfully.

You could make all kinds of twisting, turning slides using pretzel sticks for the supports and fruit leather on a roll for the slides- just glue them together with melted chocolate.

You could use mini teddy grahams in gummy o's for swimmers in inner tubes.

Don't forget to return and post pictures of your water park cake for us all to enjoy.

Good luck.

Regards,
Michelle (editor)
