What icing goes with cream cheese filling?

I want to do a cake with a cream cheese filling. Would buttercream icing go well it?
Is there something else that would work better?
Thanks
From the editor:
Hi Noelle,
If you want a really spectacular frosting to go with cream cheese filling, try adding 1 cup of good quality white chocolate to the basic buttercream recipe. Chop the chocolate, melt in the microwave in 30 second bursts until smooth, and cool slightly before pouring into the buttercream with the mixer running. Let the buttercream sit in the fridge for about an hour to firm up and stir a little, if necessary, to return to spreading consistency.
You could also make a double batch of the cream cheese filling and add the white chocolate to that, to make a beautiful white chocolate cream cheese frosting.
Regards,
Michelle (editor)
