will chocolate buttercream bleed through white fondant?

I am making a cake and they want chocolate frosting under the white fondant. Is that possible? will it bleed through?

Hi Bobbye,

It is possible, but I would recommend rolling the fondant a little thicker than usual, about 1/2" at least, to prevent the bleed through that you're worried about.
