Wording For Adoption Cake

Hi, We are adopting a baby we have fostered for 18 months (since he was a newborn). What is appropriate to write on the cake??? Any suggestions? Thank you very much, he is also being baptized.

Hi! Well I realize is a year later but I am also adopting a 20 mo. little girl who has been in my home since 3 days old.... I think I'm just gonna write on cake
"Happy Adoption Day (child's name)"

Jsut a thought & congradulations to all who are opening hearts & homes & adopting a child!

Hi Steph,

Congratulations on your upcoming adoption. I think since your son has already been a part of your life before the adoption, something like this would be appropriate:
"Welcome to our forever family"
